Travel Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival Srinagar Airport @ 17:55 Hrs transfer to The Chinar hotel Srinagar.

Day 2 – Sonmarg day trip return to hotel Chinar.

Day 3 – Gulmarg day trip return to Srinagar, night stay in houseboat Bendmeer.

Day 4 – Pahalgam day trip return to Srinagar hotel Chinar.

Day 5 – Srinagar local sight-seeing, return to hotel Chinar.

Day 6 – Drop to Srinagar Airport 13:00 hrs.

Brief Introduction about the booking and Itinerary

We received a booking request asking us to confirm us that if we would take the group of 12 people all of whom are old seniors and would require extra care and support here during the travel. So far we had dealt with small groups only, this was our first larger group and that too was said to be old aged so was a bit of challenge for us but we were ready to take any groups now. A series of people came to enquire about it one by one. First a reference from our own city then another reference Mr Showkat working in New Delhi enquired, then another from Bangalore and later another Mr Imran from UAE and finally Mr J Kumar who was actually heading the group came to contact us. We had already shared the requested details to all in the process and same was finally confirmed by Mr J Kumar. For the convenience, we decided to select one common place for night stays for all days except for 1 night experience in a houseboat and rest was as already planned by the clients. Mr J Kumar was very cooperative and supportive in planning and accepting our suggestions, and the plan was mutually scheduled and agreed together. It was a group of 12 senior citizens from Chennai. However, unfortunately due to some unforseen accident, Mr J Kumar and his wife had to cancel, but all the rest group of 10 was still scheduled as planned. Mr J Kumar informed that now his brother in law Mr Venkatesan will lead the group. So far all the conversations and plans were done with Mr J Kumar so it was little be worrying to communicate with others but to our pleasure Mr Venkatesan and the entire group also turned out to be all very cooperative and supportive and above all it was nothing like we are dealing with some old people who have to be taken any extra care. They were all so supportive that we didn’t felt we were dealing with some old people. Truely said “Age is just a number“. They were such a soulful and heartful of people that every moment and word with them was heartfelt. Their appreciation every morning and every evening and kind words everyday at every step and situation was motivating us so much that can’t have words to thank them in return. I don’t know if it was this group only or it’s all the people of Chennai like this only. Really made me curious now to visit Chennai in my next expedition.
